Bionic Commando (NES)

With a next (current?)-gen version of Bionic Commando on its way, and the remake, Bionic Commando Rearmed, due out in a matter of weeks, we figured that this would be the perfect time for everyone to get reacquainted with Rad Spencer's original adventure.

OK, so not his original adventure. We're skipping the crappy arcade version of BC and going straight to the NES version--the version that made the series popular.

If you don't have an NES and a copy of the game handy, this title may be a bit trickier to track down. The only re-release of it has been on the GBA compilation, Capcom Classics Mini Mix. If you look around, you can probably still find the game in stores for cheap. Hey, Amazon's got it in stock right now for only $10. In addition to the NES version of BC, Mini Mix also features the NES games, Strider and Mighty Final Fight.
