Star Tropics (NES)

In Episode 64 we spent a lengthy amount of time talking about Star Tropics, Nintendo's modern-day-ish action-adventure title for the 8-bit NES. Released for Christmas 1990, the game was (oddly) developed specifically for the US and European markets. Never came out in Japan.

So, let's discuss Star Tropics here. What do you remember of the game? Did you like it? Do you think it still holds up? What's your opinion of the god AWFUL control?

Nintendo released the game on the Wii's Virtual Console on 1/7/08.
